From a windsurfer's point of view, I had some bad luck going to Lanzarote just this week, because no wind was forecasted. But today the predicted 12 knots became 15 knots, so just enough for me to get planing.
Not on my favorite slalom gear, but there are much worse ways to spend the day than windsurfing on a large freeride board at almost 30°C.
Sailed on a Goya Volar 145 with an older Mauisails Pursuit 7.0, nice to have some fun in the bay of Costa Teguise.
I rented this equipment at the Windsurf Paradise center, because it was the closest to the sea. Nice guys, no stress, and excellent possibilities to rent quiver for shorter periods (in my case for a few hours, because it was the only day with enough wind)
