50th Aniversary of 'Round Mersea Island' Race Picked up a old vintage long board from Paul Reynolds and had a go! these boards were a bit before my time, this was probably the best choice as its so silted up behind the island these days so a foil or even a slalom board wouldnt get through.

there hust have been 100 helpers and mid point to help everyone carry there kit over the road plus many a spectator on the sea walls.

its 15 miles around , i sailed 19 including tacking around in a time of 2h40mins, happy with that considering my long board skills.
