Fab day again at Point Clear ,
With forecasted wind upto 30mph we did think we would be on small kit but tried a run on the Slalom kit to start with, but not really enough wind to get up a stonking. So with Whities advise Cookie and myself plugged in the Foils, my rigg choice was the 122 X-Fire 7.8 Firewing and the WH Flight 85. Iam finding the slalom board so much more responsive than the big old formular board i was using, again Whities advise was to 'Cut that board up' and get on your slalom board. great advise glad i did.
Finding it better on the starboard tack and into gybe on this direction, finding port take i can easy loose control when powered up, but guessing its down to mast presure and general stance ! Maybe pilaties may help with body position lol.
ive entered this speed under my slalom kit as i dont think the 25knots was obtained while foiling as had my GW60 on for both foil andchugging along foiling.
