Second day @ Lake George.

I filled the gap in my quiver with a new/old 90L F2 SXS (thanks Jamie).

The wind looked like it was solid early so I went out to try and beat the rising weed with the 6.1 and 25 Vector.  It was nuking it the chop through the middle but there were not any gusts going down the flat weed run. I played around for a while sorting out the strap spacing and length as I had the old front foot wanting to pull out of the strap feeling.  I probably should have put my lines back on the upwind leg to combat the problem as well. I managed more runs on the 90L than I did on the speed board yesterday but there was no pull on the run. There was a visible windline just before the strip on most runs.  It was however great to be sailing over the weed beds again with crystal clear water and tiny wavelets.

I had to leave in the early afternoon for the 400km drive back to Adelaide to beat the Roos and it looked like it was nuking on the way home - my fuel economy was about 1L/100 better and I had 2 boards on the roof!  I checked the Robe Airport observations and it looked the same all arvo which was strange.  Maybe the wind had a bit more south in it today and the trees where shielding the run.

Overall it was an enjoyable road trip with lots to think about(and make...) before returning again in a few weeks.
