Today was a day to do 50 knots. The wind was perfect the course was broad and the water was relatively flat. It just doesn't get any better. This showed because virtually everyone came away with a PB. It was a fantastic day. Should be a few changes in the top ten with all the PBs. Congrats to everyone that managed to raise themselves in the rankings. Especially Chris with a top class performance today.

The tide was best in the morning, and so was the wind. by midday we all left the area as the tide was due to get pretty high and we didn't want a repeat of the car drowning from several weeks ago. We couldn't get bck in till around 5.30pm and the wind had backed down quite a bit. I managed a couple of high 45 runs but couldn't improve my 5x10.

One thing that is clear is that I need to get much fitter if I am to get the most from my gear. I blew way too many opportunities because I couldn't do many runs.

I posted my results calculated from trackpoints (middle result of 3 Navi units) but include my doppler speeds here for reference:
2 sec - 47.67
10 sec - 46.92
100m - 47.36
250m - 46.83
500m - 44.92
5x10 - 46.02

I also ran a Garmin today for comparison, but forgot to turn it on until after my first run so blows my 5x10. But here are the rest of the results:
2 sec - 48.56
10 sec - 46.97
100m - 47.45
250m - 46.85
500m - 45.72
