Interesting afternoon.

At lunch there was loads of mist and drizzle, but  by 2pm the small low had run through and we had a thumping westerly coming through. By 3pm the wind was powering through and after leaving work got to the lake just after 4.  The wind was full on, a solid 30 knots in the gusts but was due to  drop by 5pm. Just about managed to get a few runs in before  the wind died to nothing but conditions were very difficult as it had gone WNW so only a tiny area to sail in with super gusty winds and crazy chop. Fortunately the mistral cruises nicely on top of any wild water so no crashes!!
