First session in a long time with GPS. Was quite fun.

Nice evening session with good wind and sunshine. We have had a month or so with very poor wind, and this felt like a bit of a come back on the water. I am much more fit this season. Surfed for something like 7 hours and the best runs were at the very end. Would not have happened last year. In total I had 108 registered speed runs!

Quite brutal day at times. Went in the rough sea a few runs and had a very bad catapult and broke a boom. When the wind picked up a bit I went on the inside in 'Shitbay'. Perfectly flat water, but very short runs there (at this angle) and one can essentially just go for max speed, 2s, display and maybe 100m. I had 5 runs with over 31 knots on the display, but still did not have one single 10s over 30. (The best shown at 30.0 above was really 29.995.)

Could not resist trying my new gear though it was really too small. The Exocet speed board worked very well as high wind slalom. The Mega sail is a bit of a monster to rig and manouver compared to my Booster sails, but it seems to give an extra knot.
