It has been a long time that I've sailed on my speedboard again and today would be the day to do so.
I rigged immediatly 5.6 but the direction was not good untill around 15 00 h. After the rainshowers and the thunder and lightning "games" it was time to play for ourselves.

The wind was extremely gusty but hard at some times so I took some "luggage" with me.
I felt there was something wrong with the sailsettings because it didn't go that wel. I was not running smoothly. Pulled some more downhaul and little help from Vinnie would do the job and yes it was better.
At that point I lost lots of energy and due to the fact that I didn't sail much this year I got quickly exhausted. I got rid of some lead because sometimes I could hardly get on my board to start a run. The previous last run I did my fastest run and max speed of the day.
You really had to pick the right gust (and have a BIT of luck to get on) but we had a surf.

I must say the conditions where far from easy.
