My best session on the Lauwersmeer ever! If the wind was a bit stronger and consistant if could have been faster. It does not get much better then this on Lago di Lauwers. Officially it's winter, but with temperatures around 11 degrees it wasn't cold at all.

I used my Mistral 41 because my Starboard 44 hasn't arrived yet. The Mistral is perfect for days like this. It's so easy in the chop. The waterstarting got more and more difficult during the day. When I derigged I discovered why. My weightvest was about 10KG heaver then normal. It was full of water. But I guess it helped during the speed runs!
