YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA!!!! SPOT RECORD!!! 

Finally today everything came together after trying to get the spot record for one and a half year. Started the day bright and early at sunrise to rig up and get everything tuned in. Peak wind were forecasted for around 10 am. I learned a lot this year, went on the water ~80 times already and competed in a couple of slalom competitions. All the help and tips from so many good racers helped me achieve this today!!! 

The lake was choppy as hell as always, while the wind swung from WNW in the early morning to WSW around noon.

The new Vmax fin works wonders for me: 10 times over 30 knots

Peak speed spot record: 33,14 knots

5x10 spot record: 30,62 knots

and last but not least: Alpha PB 20,03 knots

The real surprise for me is that I'm not really slower with the 65cm wide board which I used today compared to being on a speed board.
