Arrived very late after too much beer the night before - so not expecting much - just to clear my head and put some time in on the water.

Initial gusty conditions had loads of holes in the wind and at one point I even resorted to using the isonic 115 for a bit but never made more than 30kts.

Around 3pm the wind notched up a bit and steadied, the cooler conditions encouraging others to de rig, so that by 3:30 there were only two of us on the water - always good for speed.

Managed to get some decent runs in and starting to get used to the board and relax - combined with the broad WNW direction this allowed me to move on some of my personal bests.

Happy that I am moving in the right direction - this turned out a good day.
