A decent session average for Brogborough Lake. Two hours of sailing but it was only the last 30 minutes when the wind lived up to expectations.

My first 90 minutes was probably a 29.something knot average then then wind filled in and I had 3 consecutive runs peaking at 34 knots and averaging mid/high 32's. I thought I might beat my spot record (32.2 knots) with another 2 good runs but the wind eased and I just about scraped a 32 knot average.

This is my third highest session average for Brog but almost certainly the fastest 3 x 10s. It was pretty choppy when I did those runs so they felt more extreme than 40 knots at a speed location!

It had snowed just before I arrived and the five of us brave enough to go sailing got very cold hands. Winter has officially arrived at Brog!
