Midday session at Meola Reef. Choppy as hell and wrong wind direction (NW)

After finishing at Meola drove to Pt Chev to have a look. Heaps of guys out. wind was nuking!!, but too choppy for speed runs. Couldn't be arsed going out, so headed for the calmer waters of Shoal Bay in the hope of finding wind from a more westerley direction. Never made it to Shoal Bay as i took a left and decided to try Lake Pupuke instead. Glad I did as the lake had some huge gusts. Typical Lake Pupuke - patchy wind

Haven't sailed on the Lake for about 10 years!

Using my speedboard is becoming a bit of a habit. pretty hard on the arms and legs when your in the water more than usual.
