After yesterdays perfect surfing, this holiday got even better today with some good sailing. The swell had died away, the wind a strong southerly and with good weather a rare session at the bluff was on the cards. Arrived at the same time as Simon, and rigged a similar setup. On the water all was good, the water was crystal clear and warm and and the wind was gusty and you really needed some luck to get a good gust. I lucked into a couple of cleanish ones and nice that this old kit still functions so well. The angle got broader and broader until it was impossible to sail down the course. If the wind was stronger and steadier we could have had some excellent speeds but these are good enough

Really delighted to get some fun sailing in at such a picture perfect venue... and with some more wind on the way this break is shaping up to be an epic one.
