More PB's super chuffed, after meeting with Patrick in town we decided to wait until the afternoon Tramontana stabilised so went to the beach at 1pm, it was very up and down so instead of being brave I went for the 6.0 again and despite PB's should have gone for 7.0 though using the 30cm Falcon was sweet - thanks Farrel!

There was a lot of East in the wind so the Starboard tack was great most of the time but got too deep to be really quick towards the end of the session, the Port tack was offshore and out to sea past the watertower but I was genuinely surprised how well the 95 points even in very rough 2 to 4 feet swell/chop.

The inshore sandbars have all but disappeared leaving only one or 2 to be careful of but there is a definitely an inshore channel next to the beach you can fang along in, takes some stones though!

It was great sailing with Patrick as we were the only 2 out so the whole 3 mile speed course just for us, he was on a larger sail than me so its going to be interesting to see the results.
