Eindelijk weer eens wind!

Op het laatst was de 7,0 veel te groot.

NICE!!!

After a long wait for any wind...

This was a good one, more wind than we expected...

Started wit 6,2 and 99 my new board for Amstelmeer chop racing!

the new 99 has exacty what I need to feel good on the Lake, enough volume to keep going in the frequent lulls and more than enough stability and performance in the runs.

After a wile the wind filled in bigtime and it was a real fight for us to get back to the beach from upwind on the lake downwind was no option in the gusts.....

good experience!

Wind at last! And a proper one, as it turned out to be. At the start it was initially pretty light, being on the 79 I could use a few knts extra. With the mastfoot all the way in front it hoovered very nicely over the Amstelmeer chop. Perhaps I should have trimmed back as the conditions where pretty ok. When we headed back for a drink, the few extra knts as requested turned up, altough I didnot request air support by means of all 37knts extra! So we had a blast back to the beach and I ended up crashing and a 100mtrs short. As it was a bit rough, and my leg cramped, I decided to take an easy float to the beach instead of wrestling the ocean-like swell. The 'warme-handjes surfpak', altough equipped with water-cooling nowadays, is still really comfy and warm. (thx for the new nick-name!).
