well, the wind just kicked in later :) chose the new Tabou Manta TE 81 to find some settings and get some training on it, wind would have been strong and consistent enough to go smaller...
Nevertheless I got some very nice speeds, 1sec. max was 29,13 knots. The Manta is flying but generates much more lift than my old Naish (78cm wide). That means that the nose of the board started lifting at ~27-28 knots, so I think I'll get a stiff fin in ~42cm to get rid of that extra lift. I think with a smaller fin, 30 knots and even more are easily achievable on the board :)
Some nice jibing, often dropping of the plane, but still 18 knots Alpha.
