4th round of the Strath 1 hour race series.  1 hour of racing is bloody tough, you cant gybe wnere you want and the bouys are in very choppy locations.  The wind invarioubly changes thoughout the 1 Hr period.  Raced on 7.7/Godzilla/MxR Katana 48EC then went for a GPS sail on the 112/6.9/UFO38 combo.  Tried some different sail trim and felt much more balanced off the wind.  Had trouble with the gusty wind and my severe lack of energy after the racing and only managed a few good runs.  Very happy with the tuning insight though.  Great to catch up with the usual suspects including Sam and Carl.

Boggy Lake 15-20

Godz / 7.7 / 48 Katana then 112 / 6.9 / 38 UFO

Great arvo at Boggy lake. Pb for the big girl. I knew Sam had headed back to shore to change down board sizes but haven't sailed the Fanatic 113 for a while so thought i would take her for a cruise - had a ball. Effortlessly cruising across the wind and wherever you wanted to go. Would have gone quicker on the 86 but love the big board. The 6.6 is definately a power house and a great size.
