High tide at Maza this afternoon, so wasn't expecting much. Rigged the new 7.1 as I wanted to try it out. Launched with some trepidation as the wind had got up while I was changing.
First run latched onto a huge gust, running down to Marazion village and scored 34 knots Vmax on the dial - I think the sail was trying to say buy me, buy me...
After the wind calmed down a bit, the whole set up felt totally lit with the board, sail and fin absolutely rock solid. Ended up with a new PB for Marazion - a really good afternoon.
P.S I think Ross Williams is out of a job as these Vapors just sell themselves.
