It may feel like winter, but it is supposed to be summer!  Having said that it turned out to be a good day to go sailing. Wind filled in nicely and although it was not a good direction for speed it was a good direction for doing some longer runs out into the harbour.   Managed to get an hour in with only a couple of fallins..so best hour and nautical mile scores for this year.  Very happy with that, and with the new to me 6m Gaastra GTX!   That's it for a while..kayak and fishing time!

Quick session after spending the day preparing the back of the van for its transformation this week.

New hot sails gps 7.3 with bigger of my exocet RS boards and 35 fin went well together, some good runs in WNW chop

Low water and a fiddly direction, I had to work for every knot but overall the direction means that there was a lot of harbour to sail in.

Finally a birthday sail! its only been 10 years of waiting for it.
