Nice day in Dungarvan, plenty of wind, sun and 1st speed event of the season,course was too square, gusty could not hold onto my 5.4, in the gust cost me one fall broke my boom again, could have done few more run ...nice to see familiar faces having fun!

South-Southwest wind is pretty much dead square, with a slight port bias, which was different to be sailing this course the wrong way round.

Makes me wonder what pure southerly is like, with the tide coming in (so not agaist wind which will be standing waves).

Still chuffed to get 45 knots, considering so square.  First time trying the mXr fins, which worked a treat.

Nice and windy, especially towards the end... such a shame it was not fully broad...  but there's always one part of the equation missing isn't there.

At least it was 15 degrees :) .... damn that was a long sh*t winter.
