Another windy Lake George day with lots of crew from all over, great mob to be with.

Feeling a bit tired after the last 4 days, so just rigged the little stuff as yesterday, 4.4 koncept 43cm wavewands and 19cm decrep woody weedy.

couldn't get comfortable, maybe a bit more chop, couldn't break out of 35s for a long time, then the 37 appeared on the dial. Next run was way out of control, so decided to call it quits before I did myself an injury.

Interestingly the fin has started to break up on the trailing edge, it was too thick and humming like crazy when I first sailed it, seems I thinned it down too much, went through the carbon close to the edge, timber with a thin layer of resin just isn't strong enough. It will have to have some minor surgery when we get home.

nice day

Nice numbers while sailing +100 km... Great job !!

LG - Life's Good Cool, mmmh hard work it was.. wasnt easy at all, actually quite epic at the end of the day!! Full lited on the 5.5.. learned from yesterday and stay on 5.5 all day. Just fantastic sailing with the big guns... still buzing and speechless.. today was real speed Wink ... going baby steps

I SMACHTED my 5x10 by fare, never seen so many 40 on the screen!! my 500m is 39.624 oooh yeeeh.. hopefuly more to come

Living the dream Cool Happy Days

Nic is coming tomorrow, better to be ready for some epic condition Tongue out

Misty41 - E2_5.5 - SS230/40 Slim (made that fin a year ago, first time i use it.. not bad Wink)

First session - 1 Hr mission.

I was hoping for 28+ but things were a bit slow in the middel of the lake with some confused chop.  Last year was much flatter through the middle.  Very happy to do it on a custom weedy I have been working on - great on the reach and slippery off the wind.

Second session

Got on the JP49 Speed after the 2 hour mission earlier.  I found it hard jagging any long gusts down the bottom today but it was nice to see a 43 on the screen.  I'll save the speed for a big day as I couldn't get out of an audit tomorrow which is meant to be a little stronger.

Combined day upload for Distance in the Lake George Event 2013 as well as posting to GPSTC.

day 2

Distance run with Kato and his 552km.

Great Day at LG

A late arvo sail before going for the distance trip tomorrow
