Had to go early, nice sail though, off to cirque de soleil now should be good!

Good late morning session at the Salty Lake....best 10s average speeds this year!  The drive over was interesting with boats in the inner harbour looking like they were same height as the road.  Probably the highest tide we've had for sometime.

Although strong and gusty, the average wind direction (210 ) was a tad broad to the beach, but the Tabou took the rolling chop in its stride.   Some cracking speeds by the other Pirates...nice to see!

First go on fanatic falcon 80.

Wow what fun,

got down the OTC with Allan Russell already out with a mate before work session dedication is not the word for it! out at first light just to get a few runs in before the daily slog!

Anyway missed my moment i suppose? first run was quick but by the time i got dialed in it was to late wind was all over the place hard slog up wind as normal and big holes down wind!

All in all a lovely sail with Pete, Kev and Norm no traffic and good honest banter.........

The way i like it!

Very gusty as low tide, didn't find much flat water and probably had too much downhaul for the mean conditions.
