20-30 was forecast, when I got there everyone was lying on the grass and it was 10-15.  Used the 9.5 E3 for the first time and it had great stability.  This is the first proper big race sail I have owned,  the RS Slalom in the same size would top out much earlier.  Great to catch up with the guys,  there were about 4 who were going to camp overnight.  Hope they get some wind tomorrow.

Day 1 of overnight short trip to Boggy lake. Got there just as it picked up to 10 - 20 knots. Decided on 6.3m loft blade and fanatic falcon 102 and thought i put in 33cm sl7 but used 35cm sl7. Now wonder i could put so well upwind - worked great. 8 k runs were great fun so i decided to go for an hour but had some moments of no wind - okay result anyway. Wind dropped back after lunch and i ended up taking PJ's 11m and formula board for a spin. Hard to believe how early it planed but spent alot of time in the water cramping up after 1 hour in dodgy wind
