Black day in my windsurf carrier. Today I had my first real accident. A German surfer was downwind from me and I didn’t see him. I hit him with plus 60. Lucky both of us didn’t get hurt and we had both some material damage. But I still don’t understand where he was coming from, I really thought that I checked if the direction for my run was clear. A broken boom at my side and some little board damage at his side was all. But it scared me a lot that I didn’t see him.

For the rest I had a great session. The wind direction and force was almost perfect for a great chop session. I never been so fast over the chop. Hopefully next time better and then without damage.

De chop was goed aanwezig en behoorlijk hoog.

Dus de snelheid is niet zoo hoog, maar toch een heelijke surfdag.

ik heb de 150 km even vol gemaakt, de volgende keer gaan we voor de 200 km.

ik heb ook nog even mijn uur pr omhoog gezet !

Very, very nice weather: sun, clouds, wind, everything what you need for a good windsurf session.

I chose the 6.2 and gave it a bit too much downhaul. This made the sail feel very light, but it lacked some power downwind. But who cares? It was nice to be at de Punt with friends and not too much others;-)

Om wat snelheid te halen toch de verkeerde spot gekozen.

Kabbel chop hoppen kan door specialisten ook nog sneller.
