Great day at Island Creek in Avon, North Carolina.   Winds were 30 to 35 knots in the morning, dropping to 27 to 32 knots in the afternoon.  Used my 4.2 the whole day, a 3.7 would have been good in the morning.    We got a 90 degree wind shift at 1:50 pm, gusted to 58 knots with the shift, then the wind dropped off.

Sailed 7 out of 8 days during this Hatteras trip, early April is one of the best times for good winds.
