First day at Lake George sailing with Jamie.  Went out on the 7.8 and 111 first and headed upwind, wind was starting to fill in at 25 so I did a run back to base and got a 36.85 on the 111 and didnt have quite enough for the mile, I was mid 33 for 1300m of the run.  Changed to the JP49 - seperate post.

First day at Lake George sailing with Jamie.  Went out on the 7.8 and 111 first and headed upwind, wind was starting to fill in at 25 so I did a run back to base and got a 36.85 on the 111 and didnt have quite enough for the mile, I was mid 33 for 1300m of the run.  Tried the 7.8 on the 49 speed board with 23 Slingshot and it worked really well - would probably be less fun in big chop though.  Got 2 runs of the wind to get 3 10s in the mid 36's and then made the mistake of trying to get more when the wind died.  45 minute sidestroke/crawl through weed and mud.  I was knackered when I got back and called it a day.  Great sailing with Jamie, I should have had the head cam on as there was a great run off the wind together. Very happy with the range of the 7.8, still waiting for a 6.2 - will prbably arrive Monday knowing my luck!  Had some screaming alphas but were too wide on the speed board - trying to stay out of the weed.
