First time in the water since a loooong time. Super day....

1st race of the 2011 Greek Speed Championship!

Weather forecast was extremely accurate (sunny warm day 20C, wind at noon about 20 knots, later picked up to about 25), so we had the opportunity to run two full heats of 1,5 hour each.

Again many happy faces on the beach, especially by people who came for the first time in Drepano to taste the feeling of speeding next to the sandbank!!!

In the 1st heat I used the 7,0 and for a while the faclon112

max speed three times over 40 but unfortunately without the proper 10sec. averages and once again 2sec. lower....

first try of my new isonic w58......board felt like i had it for years.......

Good day,the morninq 20 knots,the afternoon 25.I was lucky to do what Minos was tell me and chance board.[ακομα ψαχνομαι και με πανια και σανιδια ]

We were very lucky with the first event of our championship. Solid 25 knots in the aftrenoon, lots of happy faces. A 6.3 sail would be faster in the gusts but its difficult to change while racing.

Thomo and Mangolakis were definately missing...

first time in drepano beach with strange conditions according to locals ....still was planing and had a fun time unfortunately the direction was good for no more than 10 minutes......fun with minos and the patras crew....and my trusted speed mates from Thessaloniki
