First run was the best, then struggled getting back upwind. First time out in real speed conditions with slalom board, speed fin and 5.8 sail.
Had 2 other reasonable runs, then got the harness stuck round the fin, went to release it and sliced my index finger open. I have very thin blood due to meds - took a long time to stop bleeding and now feel like a little like I am drunk.
Learnt that I have a hell of a lot to learn :-D

Should try a smaller fin, but was ok until the water dropped then too bouncy for the kit. Theres a couple more knots in this combination on flat water though.

It has been a while since we have had wind from this direction...shame about the incessant rain and low tide. Pleased to get onto small kit though!
