| First surf of the season. Really nice day. Sunny, 10C, and windy. When rigging my 6.7 I noticed that it was ripped inside the mast pocket. Had to change to 5.8. Was a bit underpowered in the start. The wind then increased, but when I was properly powered, I was too tired for record speeds. It was a bit annoying not to get over 35 knots today (having three runs above 34), but still really happy with the day. Had both new (used) board and sail. Both were lovely. The board felt almost as fast as my speedboard and gybed like a dream. Just some more trimming and I should be a bit faster I hope. Did not get any alpha result. Not sure why. Maybe Shitbay is too short.
