| not a very good top speed for me today but the conditions were not great with total square wind. did get to test some fins so was a productive day , now of to france for a little warmer water and wind !!! Finally the booty's can come off.

Surprise!!!! This is not a joke ;)
Super nice session in the beginning a bit cold with hail and later on we luckely got a nice sunny day. After a nice speedsession of 124km we got the idea to do a hour don't know why we wanted to do this but we just did it and it was fun didnt expect that because i was allready a bit soar in the hand because of sailing in the cold.
The caspar 29 was really nice in this combination put the base plate 3mm in front of the square the control was very good .
Nice to beat the guys on average after their amazing topspeeds of yesterday . I'm stoked!!!!!!!

De wind stond haaks op het dammetje: Ideaal dus voor mijn eerste kennismaking. Je kon dus in 2 richtingen halve wind varen. Heb nog getwijfeld tussen 6.3 en 5.7 qua zeilgrootte. Omdat het de eerste keer was in Herkingen en omdat ik ook wel eens mijn nieuwe Mega XS 5.7 (2010) wou testen toch maar voor het laatste gekozen. Ik zat nooit te klein om aan een aardige snelheid te 'cruisen', maar voor de downwindse rakken om een super tijd neer te zetten, zat ik veel te klein (te weinig power). Met de 6.3 had ik misschien iets dichter tegen de 70 km/u gezeten... Al bij al zeer tevreden van de XS ism de Falcon SL80. Vin had gerust een maatje kleiner mogen zijn.
Het was toch eens de moeite om 5u40 min in de wagen te zitten ;-) Wel zeer koude vingers gehad. Ik kom er zeker terug. Thx to Marco voor de nodige info !!

Good first day of the month for distance, alpha racing, 1hour, topspeed and average.
I was not able to go faster than Hans today with my 7,0, he was in total control. I hope Martin is doing well!
Now i'm totally broken.
