halfway into my first lap it started to look like it'd be another "early bird" day where i was the late worm… instead of riggin up, made some tech changes to save time and kept at it…
lots of wind in the channel but rough water; great water by the Z buoy but middling wind… got one gust that moved in enough to get a good run and propel my average into top ten overall/top five for the spot and make the day more worthwhile.
funny that my good alphas were the outside "dancing" gybes in the swell and rough chop… also too bad i had to stop and waste time making sure my GW60 was working properly as i had good pace (seen in the half-hour split)
