strong and square at the beginning, too strong after !

at 2pm, water became totally white, time to go home ,

disappointed to not be able to speed up in these conditions

On Sunday 2 gps devices stopped working. So Monday morning we were first trying to find some new ones wthout any luck. When we arrived at the beach the tramontana was hamering down on the beach. It was time to rig the 4.7. Was on the water together with Jean-Marc and Carsten. When we started the water level was really low so you had to be carefull with the sandbanks. I had two coaches on the shore making comments how to improve my runs :). In the end managed to improve my avg PR a bit. Thanks Michel for letting me use your GPS.

It was again a fun trip with sun, wind, bakkeries and a lots of laughs! Thanks guys!

I was quite early on the beach and checked the conditions. The sand was flying around, the sea was completely white, the water level was very deep, there was already a little swell and the waves broke at the sandbanks.
I was still alone, but I used the time to rigg my 5.1 Speedblade.
After some time Sander, Michel, Wouter and Jean-Marc arrived.
Jean-Marc first tried out whether the conditions were sailable. Wouter and I soon followed.
We found a short area of smooth water and were able to make some runs at 50 knots plus and square conditions.
I was able to reach over 80 km/h Max several times.
The new Speedblade 2018 was very balanced and easy to hold.
The PD Speed 43 as usual super fast.
The BEAST ASY S 20 from http://www.feinefinnen.de/ provided great control under these epic conditions.
Thanks to Sander for lending the RDM extension and thanks to Michel for the great pics.
