I thought it was going to be an easy session after the storm had passed, but I think I actually had the best wind of the day. Wasn't prepared for it though!
When I arrived most people had left or were leaving because the wind dropped, though still a bit gusty. So I decided to take 6.2 and 90 litres. That was fine for like 10 minutes and I even had difficulty planing in the beginning. However, the wind then increased and kept increasing until I was seriousy overpowered with 6.2 and could only sail upwind, shortly crosswind before bearing off like crazy to keep the board from flying away without me. I even downsized to the W54, but was still struggling to stay in control, even though speeds went up a bit (particularly peak speeds...68 on the 90 litres to 73.9 on the W54)
All in all a good and fun session, despite being massivey overpowered and on the edge of control, but that keeps things interesting =)
