Tuesday 30th June – windsurf * - The Manor, Felixstowe – mainly cloudy.

Starboard formula with foil and Lightning 7.

Foil – 5.83 knot max, 2.57 knot ave ., 0.01 knot hour, 0.00 knot mile, 6.21 km., 0.00 knot alpha

Several foilers headed down to The Manor on what looked like an OK forecast, there seemed a bit of wind on the water but it was difficult to judge the strength as it was cross off! So I rigged 7m, Andy and Micheal headed out and were flying on 7.3 and 6.2 respectively but sadly by the time I got on the water the wind had fallen really light. I sailed out to the shipping channel, tacked and started the long slog back to the shore with winds now super light :( It was a long painful trip back, all I can say is thank goodness the tide was with us otherwise it would have involved the walk of shame!!!!! Still it was nice to catch up with mates on the beach!
