nice day lowind only one goldfleet todsy but good for me luckely at the end of the heat i was smart enough to switch from a 27 to a 29 fin directly made my fastest runs and ended up 7th could have been 5th but i wasn't at the skippersmeeting so i did not no you had to stay upwind from the boei so i made jibe round it and didn't understand the warning so just made a run wich was my second fastest wich didn't count and i couldn't make another because the time was over but overall i'm still 5th wich is very good with enough space to sixt (Chris Lockwood).

A lost day for me..... After the first run in the goldfleet i broke the mast of my 7,0. I didn´t have a spare mast in this size on the beach except in my rigged 6,2. Option 1, derigg my 6,2 and put this mast in the 7,0. This would take 20 minutes and my heat was lost anyway. I choose for option 2, just take the 6,2 and hope for some gusts. The wind was really low and i didn´t make any good runs with the 6,2. All the others were on 7,8 or 7,0. So i was in the silver fleet. At the end of the day we sailed this heat and i won it, so tomorrow again starting in the gold fleet. I learned today to sail bigger or stiffer fins on the course, as you can see on the movie my boards are stick to the water. Why i need to learn this here?, so frustating. This are normally really my kind of conditions.

Helaas weer weinig wind. Wel een redelijk goede uitslag voor mij; 12de plaats. Hopelijk morgen meer wind.

Today I felt a lot better and easily won the Silver fleet. The gold started really well and after 3 runs I was placed 3rd with a 36 and a 34 runs. I only needed a run around 36.5 like in the morning to put me in top 5 but it never came. It was only downhill from there and soon I was 13th. Another run at 35 put me back on 12th only 2,5 minutes before red flag but then.... A super gust hits the shore and I see at least 8-7 guys scoring big and me 4 more places down! Bummer! In this competition you need luck. And I have not much of it... At least I stayed on gold

finally I got a gust through the course. Right at the end of the round. 7.8m smokes. Perfectly balanced. Best result for me in a worldcup round with 3rd. Another hit and miss day...
