The forecasted westerlies did not show today, we had gusty square lighter winds instead, and pretty cold, Time to replace my old winter wetsuit, it does not keep me warm any more. Far from perfect, but was still fun.

We thought it will be a big day...it was not. Mark has told everything about the day.

Cold at kirby but good fun. Struggled to get any good speeds today, not sure why.

Waited till tide when out. used jp 84 slalom and 28 fin then moved to 44 isonic speed board. Im happy today as got in my footstarps on small board and ran down the wall.

Conditions only good briefly while I was there. Some new PB's but only 3 runs. Could have done with a slightly bigger sail.

Nice to catch up with the crew. Testing a few wave fins, not even especially windy for that. Feel pretty uneffective at speedsailing these days at 71kg!

SB isonic 50, 5.6 evo 8, not very windy & abit cold but fun.

maybe more on sat PM but the winds blown through in the night....

1st board jp 84 then moved to Isonic 44cm and 5m KA Koncept cam sail, collected 370 rdm mast from boardwise on the way here. Tide was over the wall at 9.45am and high tide at 10.45 am so had to wait till 11.30 ish  Well chuffed as got in the footstraps and was dialed in and comfortable as ran down the wall and was nice and flat water, fastest I have gone on this board since owned.
