Wind was really strong makes it heavy to start

Good La Franqui day...changing between square and some moments of NW. Sandbanks are getting better!! My GW 60 is showing a 45,01 kn average, but something is wrong in the upload! I will check that! Anyway it was really good to have some REAL power in the sail! Speed Blade 2018-5.1 feels good and balanced!

very disapppointed when I see speeds of the crew today...

Frustrating day for me :-(

After the terrible crash from yesterday, i feel not saftey the first hours of the day.

but i don´t stop and try it again and again and after a long brake it feels much better again.

taking a 42.80 run show me that i can do it in these kind of conditions. sadly the angle was to brougth most of the time :-( for sure i coukd have done a better AVG

What a outcome of 4 years La Franqui...

All this time I wasn't able to do really fast times and now I have found the secret of really high speeds!!

Very happy with it and thanks for all the sweet words on the beach ;-)

Smallest board is used in years!

But it is worth every euro :)

Today the wind was quite square and I didn't want to damage the board. Next week again Tramontane!

Did some easy runs and some slingshots when the wind eased a bit.

Overall the speeds are not that great, but normally I would be on te beach taking pictures.

Nice and quick session in the morning from 9.00 until 10.45 am. Now back in Belgium as i have a kite test event tomorrow. 

Nice to see so many friends/speedsurfers from all over Europe come together and enjoy La Franqui. The angle was a bit to square for my board but throwing it downwind the acceleration was great. had to get used to the strong wind again and get some confidence after my crash on a sandbar last week. But at the end i was almost touching the beach again :) Think I'll steal the Hoffs weightjacket next time ;) Well done Roberto! Nice the have my first powerd up session of 2018 on the speed. Hope we get some more storms soon here in the daytime instead of te night otherwise i'll feel forced to get nightvision need a lot of these session. HAPPY DAYS!!!!

Great to be in the Top 3 World Ranking behind the 2 Speed Gurus, and only by 0,50 knots!  Happy to have the fastest 500m of the Year so far! So maybe Luderitz was not a concidence!! hahaha

Second day at la franqui. In the morning the wind was less square then yesterday. Afterwards we had a nice dinner at Raymond's villa.
