Setting the 2018 standard for a succesful full-on flatwater session: avg 60, @=>45, hr =>40. Unfortunately flunked the avg :(.

Upon arrival the water was boiling with white caps, base wind 7 Bft peaking (Brouwersdam) 8-9... wasn't exspecting that, had nothing smaller with me, so at first was quite a challenge to keep everything together, but fortunately after half an hour the wind eased off to 6-7 which was more manageable.

Hr contained 2 failed gibes + 1 emergency stop midway to adjust the GPS bag slipping from my arm.
