What a day, one off the best days ever. Rigged up the Vapor09 7.6m2 with the 125 litres Manta79 and a new 43cm fin. There was wind all day, and surfbuddies all day. Made a lot off kilometres together with Jeroen and later with Paul. Going upwind for almost 30 km and downwind for more then 20 km. Took a break and did everything again ... the timer stopped at 136 km distance . a nice one! Also a PR on the hour, but that is with a break in between. The 7.6m2 sails beautiful. Very powerfull but still a neutral feeling. The point off effort is very stable and low. I had great fun with this set .. it rocks! Jeroen thanks for pushing me. I never made long distances but with somebody else on the water that pushes it's somewhat easier. It was very choppy and Jeroen was flying with the 8,2 on the edge. Paul was also going upwind with a good angle, while he had a smaller board and fin.

Nice day sailing with Marco and Jeroen. Going upwind and downwind together, pushing each other. Well at least Marco told me he was pushing... I was just cruising.. ; ) Again tried a new home made fin and it was realy sweet until I made a downwind run and changed to upwind. I heared a small breaking noise and immediatly backed off. Carefully gybing to go back in safe-modus, but then spun out and I had a floppy hydrofoil underneath. Too bad, it was for sure the fastest fin of the day, two fastest runs were on this one. I will have to make a new one again.

Schitterend dagje op de Grevelingen. Met Marco en Paul kilometers gemaakt. Hele stukken opgekruist om daarna downwind terug te scheuren.....

Jeroen, werkt de uurtijd niet bij je? Volgende keer ga ik nog even 10 minuten door want dat had ik zeker 35 km gehad. Valt best nog tegen een uur lang volhouden in de chop.
