Todays session went something like - sail down the wall, sail back, warm hands up, repeat until it the wind picked up and it was time to change down sail size but the cold was getting to me and I'd already had a great session so called it a day.
Saw 30 knots on the GT31 half a dozen times but not for long enough to get any 10 second 30 knot runs.
Wind was strong from the SW so although the water by the wall was pretty flat, sailing down the wall was on beam reach and going broad would have meant bearing off into the lake & the chop.
Looking forward to similar strength winds but from the west.
