Long day. 3 rounds at the Dunkerbeck Speed World Championships. 100km sailed. Speeds were not quite high enough to fight at the top, but when it got windier, I seemed to be more in the game. Hopefully more action tomorrow and hopefully a bit stronger too. 

Few runs from the "Dunkerbeck Speed Challenge"...shit day if you have to compete again sailors with big Slalom equipment (8.6 and 7.8 with 107 lt boards) at a "Speed Worldchamionship! The School they build killed this place completely in marginal conditions!! Frustrating!!

Speed World Championship, 3 heats, had the wrong info about the course, so must runs where not maximized in the course. But I have good speed over 250 here, and that feels good. Also a great atmosphere with all guys at the same spot and hotel. Well today done Markus (and Björn). 

Second day of competition in Matas.First Heat.

They launched yesterday (first day) 2 heats but were cancelled because wind dropped a lot.

Very difficult to get a good speed in this conditions. A lot of holes a long de track, and the direction of wind made you almost imposible to go enough up the wind to get a good position before crssing the start line.

According to the rules here, they are only taking the best in account the best two 10sec runs (instead of the best five as usual in this paga)  to get the avg of each heat.

A bit dissapointed for me. I can´t take a good speed and I have solutions at the moment.  

Second day of Competition in Matas: Second Heat.

Still very poor wind, lightly better than in the first heat.

Still no solutions to improuving my speed.

I was 31 of 40 competitors in de first heat, and this second one I finished 26, Happy ?, I´m not sure... 

Second day at World Championship of Speed in Matas. Third Heat:

Just a bit better. Markus Emanuelson told me some tips already in the water and I think this will let to improve my speed a couple of knots. Thank you very much.

3 heats today!! Really nice spot, although the gustyness is difficult to handle.

First day of the Championchips - setup was too small :-(

1st heat with 16 knots of wind...that was a shame
