Came a bit too late...plane landed at 2 pm...by the time I hit the water it was super gusty, lot's of wind holes....some pretty big swell as well....freestylers, kiters, jet ski....a real nightmare!!

Not flat today and had to wait for gaps in the wave sets to launch and land!

Very pleased with the speeds.  My new kit felt fast and beat all my spot PBs!

Rental Equipment today too, but I made a mistake and did not "book" the board I had yesterday, so I had to sail a even bigger freeride board with a 38 fin and the Gaastra Matrix 7.0 on a epoxi mast. In the end Zara (Pete) offered my to use her Jp 55, and trhat made 3 more knots! But went early to the airport and spent 4 hours waiting to get my own stuff. Finally.

Wrong direction and more than very chopy. One hour before was better but I was organizing my staff; shit !!. I cannot get my best speed in such a short time/track.

Bravo Raffaelo and Robert "the voice" Hoffman; both really fast.

Also Alberto Carreras and María did it very well.

Nice day anyway. Will see tomorrow, last day before the competition start.
