North 8deg, not the best direction but still worth going out. More gusty and choppy than usual being cross off. Never the less, a fun session with Juan.

Good session to start speed season, but not a perfect day. Very gusty and not stablished wind.

I think I used a too big board in the best moments and when I changed my 100L for my 86L (both slalom boards) wind dropped quite a lot.

Anyway a good afternoon sailing with George who was very fast as usual.

On the other hand : A very bad surprise when we arrived to Matas. A very awful building is now in the middle of the beach ( 6 meters high ). Apparently is a kind of a windsurf and kite center aloud by the local council. They also put a line of boeie to mark the way to go into the water for that new center. In my opinion they are privatizing the use of this small beach and destroying any possibility of using it like a speed spot; but in this island every good thing is with the destroy by the ignorance and the ambition. Poor Fuerteventura !, where is the island going to ?

Well done on winning that round George. I'm sure Juan will give you a run for your money tomorrow and hopefully I'll take runner up. See you there.
