it's OK that the site is a work in progress regarding layout, faulty rankings. Many of us understand that, it 's volunteering work etc. But it's not OK that the site does not work 100% when things have to be paid.

Yesterday night I wanted to renew my membership.
I clicked on Premium membership : Buy now. The site sent me to Paypal. I paid 25 EUR, payment is now in my Paypal homepage, effectuated payments.

Immediately after paying, www.gps-speedsurfing.com site said: "Please log off and log on again to activate your membership" or something to that effect.

However I am not able to logoff. Using Chrome browser. Not on my pc, not on several other pc's I tested this on. Including pc's that never visited the site before, no old cookies remaining etc. Pressing the Log off button does not do anything. The button label stays "Log off".

So when I now log on to the site (on another pc:), it still says I am not member. When I click on e.g. View Track, I get the message "upgrade your account to get access to this page, click on the payment logo to upgrade your account directly.".

Resumé: I did pay 25 EUR 24 hours ago, and the site suggested that this membership would be active immediately after logging off. Am unable to log off, and the site still says I am not member. Eithere

Please fix this asap. Either the membership activation is blocked due to the Log off functionality not working, or my payment was not received by the site. I want to be in the clear about this. As a former programmer I understand thoroughly that developing and maintaining this site is no simple thing. But as a paying customer, I am allowed to exspect impeccable service and timely (=fast, swift, rapid) response.

I'm sorry to hear that your Premium Membership seems not be workting. In less than 24 hours you have posted three seperated forum items about this, in order to work in a structured way we kindly ask you to consolidate your postings in one topic. Besides that we don't offer a 24x7 support, things should be working, both for paying and free members, that's our philosophy. That in this case it's not working for you that's not ok, so we will fix it, we not alway have the time during office-hour to respond on the forum, and in case of bug's we alway try to simulate the issue, just to check if there's a workaround. 

As a former software developer you must understand that we cannot simply fix any problem for everybody fast, swift, rapid etc etc etc

Hello crew, it's just that I get a little impatient when paid services that promise instant delivery do not deliver instantly, and I wanted to be certain to be heard. I have noticed other posts/questions directed at the crew that sometimes stay unanswered for a long time and sometimes end up unanswered.

I have an event-driven IT occupation myself and my standards regarding response time are very high and my clients exspect them to be so, rightfully. Maybe I was projecting, but I will not apologize for trying to catch your attention in various ways. 

But let's not have ethical/deontological discussions her. Thanks for fixing my membership. Log off button on top of screen is still not working, Log off in Dashboard menu works.

There is nothing wrong with being impatient, it's simply more effective to work in a structured way, posting three different forum items is not the most effective and constructive way we think....so please keep this in mind when reporting new issues/bugs/comments/compliments; in the mean time please enjoy your speedsailing sessions as much as possible :)
