high-water high-chop day. solid 25kts when rigging dropped a lot as i hit the water, so ended up gust-hunting downwind.

was about to rig up but lucky for me, another set of 25+ gusts blew thru to save the day. not sure i made the most of them as the high water and my downwind position meant far more chop than i would have wanted. indeed, there were a couple of "moments" there.

but in the end, tied my best session of the year, got a 250m PB by a hair, and a 500m PB (3x) by quite some margin (improving the spot PB as well, which is something for short-track spot).
