Initially rigged 6.4 then rain squall came thru and wind picked up so opted for 5.8. By the time I got on the water the wind had gone completely so walked my way out to the reef praying for wind.  Ducks at the end of the run and a guy fishing halfway down the reef. After what seemed an hour with body frozen in shutdown mode - fingers numb!!,  wind finally came thru by which time the reef was almost covered. Managed to get some runs, but again had to walk back in until one epic rain squall came thru. Sailed a downwind hail ridden line below the reef heading to Chelsea and decided to turn around before i sailed into nothing!!!

Westerlies are very fickle and unstable at the moment!!
