What a day ...

First of all, I want to thank my girl for supporting me with the best food/company all day long !!

Wanted to go for a PR distance, was ready to go with Paul at 6u00 but the wind wasn't there. Could only start planning at 7u30 with my 14 years old formula, 70cm fin and 7.8m. Did the first 90km with this set. Started quite low wind, and ended full power. Wasn't very comfortable surfing, and very slow ! Missed a 120-130l board.

After the first break I took the 110l, 7.8 and S10 39cm. Surfed till 155km with this set. Again, started low wind and ended full power.

After the second break it was time for the best combo for distance, 110 with 7m and S10 39cm (took a long fin for early planning after the gibe). Surfed till 255km and took a break of one hour after this.

After the last break I came in a good 'mood' on the inside dams. Surfed from 225 to 373km in one piece, did an hour of +42km/u after I saild 300km. Too bad the wind died at 21u15 ... Was still very ok phyisically and mentally so planned to sail till dark.

Didn't do one tiny slingshot all day, was hard for me but I managed haha. Happy with my half-wind speeds. Mile/hour/alpha and best speeds are all done with the 7m.
