Not my day! Struggled to find the right settings. Where to start.. low fin pressure from the beginning, problem solved after 1 hour moving the mast back 5 mm. Upwind was a bitch all day long and cost me a lot of energy. Downwind runs where easy but not fast. Sailed to far away from the bank the first 2 hours. Big mistake... 70, 71, 72 runs all the time. First run close to the bank... you guessed it 75,7km/h. By that time my energy dropped and it started getting dark. I decided to do 1 more run, 74 km/h it ended in a crash and a totalled EvoIV 5.8. Sail ripped apart just above the boom from the sleeve to the clew. Had to walk back from the 2nd bank... Luckily a fisherman was so friendly to pick me up and help me accross the channel back to the carpark. If it wasn't for him... I think the swim would have been a horror!
