Epic Day, New Average PB

After 11 months of light winds, it was nice to finally get back on my smallest kit, it felt very weird. Runs were pretty square to the wall, and wind was super gusty with big holes. I caught a nice big gust on my last run, but my back footstrap broke at the start of the run, and I could not get my stance correct to make the most of the gust, dammm. Then the wind turned north west. Not a perfect day for me, but well worth the effort. Great to see some old faces back.

Was great to get back to West Kirby...had been so long sometimes I'd wonder if I'd ever go again....probably wouldn't have gone on the changing forcast normally but was desperate!  Great to see all the WK crew again.  One good run but happy with that....think its a non Luderitz PB on 250m & 500m...a good 500m for WK.

Was suposed to be testing sails but wasn't ideal as conditions kept changing.

Been a long long time this , think it was aug 2020 last time i was at west kirby , just happy to be out speed sailing again .

congrats to jim for that 5 min gust , perfect angle ...superb speeds

also to Joe Trunky , first time on a speed board ,only 50 kilos (one of my legs ) and 34 peak , well done lad

lets hope for some more now

Mega day!! Just got quicker and quicker, Tried a couple of KGs in the jacket and it help massively. Really happy to get a new PB and great to see everybody out enjoying the conditions. Kudos to Jim Crossley, absolutely flying and looking super relaxed!
